About the Author
Hi, I'm Kaylee
In 2022, I embarked on my lifelong dream of becoming a published author. What started as a doctoral capstone experience became the book that I am able to share with you today. Through extended time, research, and many cups of coffee I was able to develop How to Parent: 0 to 12 Months.
I graduated with a doctorate in occupational therapy from Huntington University. I also have a Bachelor's of Kinesiology and Health from Miami University. Through my time at both of these schools I was able to develop my passion for working with children through promoting healthy interactions and development.
I started this project by wanting to help an underserved population. Then through my research, I found out that literacy levels are related to a child’s growth. I knew immediately that I wanted to do something. That’s why I wrote How to Parent, to help new parents have a resource to guide them through the everyday tasks of raising a baby!
